Custom URL for the More Service Portal
In More Service, customers can use a custom URL for the user portal. This is handled as an order and requires collaboration between More Service and the customer.
1. Order
- The customer orders a desired custom URL for the user portal.
- The order is processed by More Service.
2. Responsibility – More Service (Developer)
The More Service developer is responsible for the following tasks:
- Creating and configuring the URL under
Settings → More Service Portal → Portal Settings - Downloading and configuring the certificate for the specified URL
- Adding the URL to the More Service spam filter
- Ensuring that the URL is automatically added as a link in the top‑right corner of all knowledge base articles
3. Responsibility – Customer (URL owner)
The customer who owns the domain is responsible for the following:
- Correctly configuring the URL in their own DNS
- Approving receipt of emails from More Service domains (whitelisting/approval of sender)
Please contact the More Service team to order a custom URL.
Once the customer’s URL has been ordered and configured under Settings → More Service Portal, all links in knowledge base articles will automatically be updated to point to the new URL.
